BOLTON Wanderers have already sold more than 15,000 season tickets with fans flocking to take advantage of the club’s ‘early bird’ deal.
Launched in early February, the final total has exceeded last year’s early sales by almost 1,000 – despite fans not knowing whether the Whites would be playing in League One or the Championship next season.
The club has revealed there were 13,829 renewals and 1,508 new season ticket holders brought on board.
Wanderers said they were “incredibly proud” that of that number, 4,040 are 2024/25 season ticket holders aged just 18 and under.
Chief executive Neil Hart, said: “Once again, we have been blown away by the outstanding show of support from Wanderers’ fans during this latest Early Bird window.
“Our thanks go every supporter who has chosen to once get behind the efforts of the club and we also welcome the 1,500 fans who are new or returning Bolton Wanderers season ticket holders.”
Season tickets have now gone back on sale following a short break at ‘phase two’ prices.
Meanwhile, manager Ian Evatt was rallying his troops for their play-off semi-final clash with Barnsley as The Independent went to print.
The Whites were facing another two-legged clash with Barnsley in a repeat of last season’s League One semi-finals as they looked to go one better and get to the Wembley shoot-out.
