It is 30 years since a Branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild was formed in Bolton, and to celebrate this anniversary, an exhibition of members’ work, entitled ‘Pearls of Friendship’, is taking place at Bolton Art Gallery, Le Mans Crescent, Bolton. The Exhibition was formally opened by Dorothy Colvin, who is the eldest founder member of the Branch. It showcases a wide variety of members’ textile work and will be open until 26th October.
