THE Bolton School Junior Boys’ annual Fun Run saw pupils don a colourful array of costumes to raise £8,160.

The money has now been split between four charities: Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Make A Wish UK and RSPCA. Each House donated £2,040 to the charity of their choice.

An assembly was arranged in order to make the donations and representatives from three of the charities attended to talk to pupils about the work they do and how the money raised will help.

At the end of assembly, cheques were presented by the Charity Representatives from each House, each giving the cheque to his House’s chosen charity.
