Market Place Bolton is celebrating the Bolton Food & Drink Festival with four days of vibrant, carnival themed entertainment, plus foodie delights from their restaurants, cafés and bars.

The annual Bolton Food &Drink Festival, and the thousands of people that descend with it, are set to arrive in Bolton on August Bank Holiday weekend.

From Friday 23rd – Monday 26th August, Market Place will be rocking a distinctly Caribbean vibe as the Centre comes alive with carnival-themed fun! A three piece steel band will set the beat for a fantastic weekend of foodie fun, while Caribbean dancers shake things up with their colourful routines and a DJ will keep those beats spinning as they mix things up on the decks.

Plus, incredible stilt walkers promise to make quite a spectacle and a team of face painters will transform customers into the carnival kings and queens that they are!

A number of well-loved chefs will be hosting free cooking demonstrations over the event, including BBC MasterChef finalist Geoff Warburton. The fun doesn’t stop there because food and drink outlets throughout the Centre will be serving up a delicious menu of free treats and special offers right across the weekend.

Nikki Wilson-Cook, Centre Manager, Market Place says, “The Bolton Food & Drink Festival is such a huge event for Bolton – being one of the biggest in the country, that we wouldn’t want to miss out! Our carnival-themed event is sure to create a celebratory atmosphere in the Centre that everyone can enjoy!”
