A former A Level student has returned to Bury College to share his industry experience with ambitious Accounting students.
Kane Bennett left Bury College in 2011 after securing an impressive range of A Levels in Accounting (A*), Mathematics (A) and Economics (B) before progressing onto The University of Manchester where he was awarded a 2:1 BSc Honours degree in Accountancy.
Upon graduating, the former Whitworth Community High School pupil joined a graduate's scheme at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he began his role as a Trainee Tax Accountant. Kane has now been promoted as the Corporate Tax Manager as his career continues to grow from strength to strength.
25 year old Kane now regularly visits the Bury College A Level Accounting department to share his professional experiences and outline the options available for students upon completion of their A Levels.
Kane said: "My time at Bury College provided me with great opportunities to progress my career and achieve my goals. I also received invaluable support from outstanding tutors. I enjoy returning to the college to letting students know about the great graduate opportunities available at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)."
