Comedian Tracey Rhodes brings her hilarious Our Trace show back to the Albert Halls on October 12.

Our Trace shot to fame last year when a member of the audience posted a Facebook live video during one of her shows and it went viral, achieving more than 7 million views worldwide turning her into an overnight internet sensation.

After the video, she was approached by Britain’s Got Talent and made her first TV appearance on the show, further adding to her growing fan base.

The result of all her new-found fame was overwhelming as compliments came flooding in, with some even comparing her act to Les Dawson and Peter Kay - thousands stated they had never laughed so much and that Our Trace was a 'National Treasure'.

Its being a long journey as Tracey first started doing comedy acts 20 years ago when she was asked to do a spot at a local care home for a resident’s 80th birthday.

Following this she auditioned for an entertainment council showcase and ‘Our Trace’ was born!

Tracey spent years of working the club circuit before her sudden rise to stardom, but she remains the person she always is, no illusions of grandeur, no stars in her eyes and completely grounded.

She’s even kept up her full-time job as a Mental Health Worker working for Esteem and the Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Her husband, Terry, also known as Biff, works tirelessly behind the scenes to make the shows run smoothly. However, he is also the butt of many of Our Trace’s jokes but he enjoys the attention and certainly wins the sympathy vote from the audience.

Terry says: “At home Tracey is quite the introvert and it is only on stage when she becomes her alter-ego character. As Our Trace she becomes a larger than life, Guinness guzzling man eater with no holds barred, who says what other people only dare think, which is a huge contrast to the true Tracey.”

The tributes Tracey’s received includes those from the late and great Frank Carson who said; “A Very funny lady indeed.” and David Walliams’ quipped on Britain’s Got Talent that “You could do this for a living.”

Ken Rock, President of British Society Comedy Script Writers, commented “Our trace is one of the funniest women I know. She has the audience rolling in the aisles from the moment she comes on stage. Her material is funny, clever and original. She deserves all the awards she has won. Our Trace is a woman I can’t get enough of!”

Tracey said: “Bolton is a very special place for us after the amazing show last year. The Albert Halls is an outstanding venue and the people are lovely… how could we not return again and again?”

The show starts 7.30pm, on Saturday, 12 October and tickets are from £21.25 available from Quay Tickets by calling 0843 2080 500 or online at www.alberthalls-bolton.co.uk

Her show promises to be an evening full of song and laughter with comedy at its very best as seen in the Facebook clip that helped shoot her to fame https://bit.ly/2UwDlME
