A family-friendly event dubbed 'the ultimate UV glow party for parents and kids to enjoy' will be taking place in Bolton in June.
After the successful May launch of Neon Jam in Northwich attracted hundreds, the organisers have said they plan to hold regular shows across the region.
They provide a two-hour music extravaganza of 80s, 90s, pop and club anthems under cool ultra violet lighting –wear white or neon colours to look the part.
There's plenty to entertain, with a DJ, dancers, performers, a magician, confetti, bubbles and balloons. For a small extra charge neon face painting and glow sticks are available.
The parties will take place at The Victoria Hall's Lower Theatre in Bolton on Saturday, June 8 at 2pm and at The Met in Bury on Saturday, June 29 at 2pm.
Neon Jam is the brainchild of Neil Cookson, a professional DJ of more than two decades from Macclesfield who has toured the US and some of Europe's best ski resorts.
He said: "Our first event at The Northwich Memorial Court went down a storm. We had really great feedback from parents who said that it was a really fun day out for them and the kids, and just something so different.
"A lot of children's activities just involve the kids, and we're giving families the chance to bond together by hitting the dance floor.
"Our incredible decor with neon-balloon features really wow the kids under the UV lights and they're loving grabbing their glow sticks and having a boogie. Plus we've got break-dancers and a magician that proved a big hit."
The 39-year-old father-of-one, who is originally from Sale, said Neon Jam provides a great way to keep fit as a family.
"Ultra-violet fitness classes have taken off in recent years as a fun way to get fit but there isn't really anything like that for parents and their kids," he said. "Dancing is a great way for the whole family to be active together.
"Parents can be reassured that the music will be played at a safe level for little ears."
There will be a licensed bar at the Bury event. Drinks and snacks will be on sale at both venues.
Tickets must be bought in advance and will not be available on the door. You can get early bird discounted entry for a limited period offering a saving of up to 20 per cent. Babies are allowed in free of charge if carried in a sling.
