A Vintage Fair at Bury Transport Museum has raised £1,812 for Bury Hospice, one of the Mayor of Bury’s chosen charities.
The mayor, Councillor Dorothy Gunther, said: “It was a pleasure to visit the museum, which has been superbly modernised in recent years and is one of our many top quality tourist attractions.
“I’d like to thank everyone who organised and took part in the vintage fair for helping to raise so much money for such a good cause.”
The mayor’s other two charities this year are Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
