WANDERERS Head Coach Ian Evatt was named the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month for November.

He received it for a performance that saw 13 points gained from five unbeaten games with a 9-2 goal differential.

However, Bolton failed to take that form into December with two defeats in a row taking the shine off the unbeaten run. The team has also conceded eight goals in those two games.

However, they got back on track with a 1-0 away victory at high-flying Cheltenham thanks to an injury time goal. That win put Wanderers in striking distance of a play-off place going into the festive season.

Evatt has also indicated he would be looking to strengthen his side in the approaching transfer window as he looks to the second half of the season and mounting a promotion challenge.

He said: "January's round the corner, we can strengthen in January. We need to strengthen, there's no two ways about it and we'll go again."

Commenting on Bolton's November performance, Sky Sports' EFL pundit Don Goodman and member of the award judging panel, said: "It was vital to turn the tide after an unexpectedly poor start to the campaign. Ian Evatt deserves a lot of credit for turning the ship around during a difficult period.

"A run of five unbeaten games was the perfect tonic and the 13 points collected has left the outlook looking much rosier for the Wanderers."
