Market Place, Bolton, is delighted to be supporting this year’s Bolton Pride, taking place from 21st - 23rd September, with a host of eclectic performances and celebrity appearances.

The event will see the centre of Bolton come to life with a celebration of the diversity of the Bolton community and a range of events happening throughout the weekend.

On Friday 21st, Bolton Pride will be hosting their cinema night at The Light cinema at Market Place, where there will be a special screening of the iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show for customers to enjoy.

The celebrations will continue on Saturday 22nd September, as service providers and supporters of the LGBT community take to stands within the centre. Furthermore a line-up of acts will perform on the Bolton FM Stage from 12.30 – 5pm to entertain the crowds. Bolton Pride ambassadors, Daisy Wood-Davis and Jessica Ellis from Hollyoaks, will be meeting and greeting guests in the centre, as well as Sandra from Gogglebox.

The Bolton Pride closing party is set to take place at The Cave in The Vaults from 5pm – 11pm on Sunday 23rd. It will be hosted by KY Kelly – a fabulous midlands-based drag artist who is sure to bring plenty of party spirit to Bolton.

Market Place will also host the Bolton Pride hate crime hub all weekend - providing customers with the opportunity of support and advice on this sensitive subject.

Nikki Wilson-Cook, Centre Manager, Market Place says, “We’re really excited to be supporting Bolton Pride. It is set to be a great weekend of inclusive, family-friendly activity that we can’t wait to be part of!”
