Bolton C.H.A. Rambling Club invite you to join them on Wednesdays and Saturdays;

Saturday 18th August

'A' – BLACKSTSONE EDGE – Meet at Aldi car park, Higher Bridge street BL1 4HJ at 9.00.  Walk starts from Hollingworth Lake car park OL15 OAQ at 10am GR 934150. Hollingworth Lake, Lydgate, Blackstone Edge, Tag Heys, Tunshill Lane. 12 miles Chris Deacon.

'B' – HAIGH – Meet at Balcarres Arms, Haigh WN2 1PA for 10.30 start. Canal, Plantation Gates, Douglas Valley, Haigh Hall Grounds. 9 miles. Peter Murray

'C' – 7 ACRES/LEVERHULME PARK – Walk starts at Oakenbottom Road, Off Bury Road BL2 6DG at 10.30. 7 Acres Park and Leverhulme Park. 5-6 miles. 6 miles Audrey Dempsey & Keith Brazier

Wednesday 22nd August – COACH TRIP – CASTLETON Meet at Bolton bus station Stand G for 9.00 start.
NON MEMBERS are welcome to join us at a cost of £10 payable on the day, subject to availability

B – Blue John Mines, Mam Tor, Hollins Cross, Lose Hill, Hope, Castleton. 8-9 miles about 1200 feet of ascent. Ray Jennings.

C – Bradwell, Brough, Navio Roman Fort, Peakshole Water, Hollowford Road, a visit to a mini zoo of farm animals, Odin Sitch, Castleton. An easy five miles walk. Pauline Francis

Wednesday number ‘1’ and ‘2’ walks are approx. 8-9 miles and of similar standard. Number ‘3’ walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.
Saturday ‘A’ walks are approximately 12 miles, ’B’ are approximately 9 miles and ‘C’ are approximately 6 miles.
